Guinea: President Inspects Conakry Port Expansion Project

On 14th of September, the President of The Republic of Guinea, Alpha Conde, accompanied by Guinea’s Transport Minister and Culture Minister, inspected the construction site of the Conakry Port Expansion Project in Guinea, announced chec.bj.cn.

The general manager of the oversea office in Guinea, Gao Hongbin, introduced the progress of the project, construction capacity of the vessels and equipment on siteand the success of training and recruiting local staff.

The president show his appreciation of the Project Management overcoming the difficulties in working in monsoon and taking water-proofing measures to prefabricatete high quality concrete blocks, and spoke highly of the contributions made by CHEC to the infrastructure of Guinea and the local people’s livelihood.

He wrote on the finished concrete block, saying “ I, Alpha Conde visited the construction site and was full of confidence for the development of neighboring countries and Guinea.”

This event was covered live by 22 local media including newspapers, magazines, TV stations, radio stations, and Internet Media, which attracts more public attention to the Project, and improves the brand influence of CHEC in Guinea, preparing a better market environment for further expansion.
