On 19 September 2013 TransContainer held ceremony on opening of renewed container terminal Kleschikha in Novosibirsk which was totally reconstructed by August 2013.

As a result of this reconstruction the space of the terminal increased six times and new container ground with modern infrastructure facilities was implemented.

The renovated facilities of the terminal provide possibility of simultaneous handling of container train as large as 71 flatcars (which is equal to 51 60-feet wagon). The capacity of the freight grounds increased two times – from 42 to 83 standard wagons and as a result the handling capacity also increased two times.

The newly introduced space allowed to increase container warehousing facilities two and a half times up to 3,338 thousand TEU.

The investments in the project starting from 2007 equaled to approximately 700 million rubles.

The introduction of the new terminal in Novosibirsk contributes to the elimination of infrastructure limitations and allows satisfying the customers’ requirements in the fast developing region.
