USA: Corps Unveils High Island Dredging Plan

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Galveston District, has introduced a plan for the High Island dredging project.

This deepening program includes dredging of approximately 1,000,000 cubic yards of material from the areas between High Island, Bolivar & Channel and Port Bolivar.

The solicitation will be issued on or about August 5, 2013, and the response date is September 4, 2013.

The total value of this contract is between $1 mln and $5 mln, and the completion time will be 120 calendar days.
