IHC Merwede: New Orders Secured for Cutter Suction Dredgers

IHC Merwede has announced that it has recently secured orders to the value of €125million for a wide range of new cutter suction dredgers (CSDs) and related equipment.

 

USA: Corps Awards First of Two Contracts for Post-Sandy Coastal Restoration

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New York District, has awarded a $10 million contract to Weeks Marine of Cranford, N.J., to place approximately 600,000 cubic yards of sand along Rockaway Beach in areas where erosion is most critical.
