Gulf Intracoastal Waterway Dredging Plan Presented (USA)

The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, Galveston District Office, announced a contract for the provision pipeline dredging to remove approximately 2,000,000 cubic yards of maintenance material from the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway, Texas, Port O’Connor to Rockport in Calhoun and Aransas Counties, Texas.

Placement will be in beneficial use sites or into the open water. The Solicitation issued will be Firm Fixed Price.

The magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The contract completion time for this project is 170 calendar days.

The Solicitation will be issued on or about 24 April 2013, and the response date is 27 May 2013.

Contracting Office address is USACE District, Galveston, 2000 Fort Point Road, PO Box 1229, Galveston, TX.
