The bid package has been issued yesterday for the proposed beach renourishment project for the DeBordieu Colony Community Association (DCCA) on Debidue Island, SC.

This project is planned for the winter of 2013/2014. The proposed project involves the placement of ~650,000 cubic yards of beach quality sediment along ~8,000 feet of the Debidue Island shoreline.

The borrow site is located ~2.5 miles offshore. Debidue Island is located in Georgetown County, South Carolina ~25 miles south of Myrtle Beach, SC.
