After Gov. Rick Scott’s January 2013 announcement of state and local funding to complete the Mile Point project, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), JAXPORT and the St. Johns Bar Pilot Association hosted media aboard a pilot boat to view the Mile Point project area.
