The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has introduced a plan for the development work at the Atchafalaya River and Bayous Chene, Boeuf, and Black.
The work consists of the construction of approximately 1.8 miles of rock foreshore protection along the eastern shoreline of Crewboat Cut, and associated flotation dredging and geotextile fabric placement.
The work is estimated to cost between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. IFB will be issued on or about February 19, 2013, with a bid opening date to be established by amendment.
