The Coast Guard and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers are scheduled to oversee rock removal operations on the Mississippi River near Thebes.

The rock removal operations will ensure the river channel will be safe to navigate should the water levels on the river drop further.

During the rock removal operations, a safety zone will be in place at MM 40 to MM 46, from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
