USA: Fox River 2012 Season Dredging Wrapped Up on November 12

Dredging and processing operations on the Fox River for the 2012 season started May 14 and concluded on November 12. Some details are as follows: – Estimated volume of sediment dredged – 26,273 cubic yards – Estimated amount of processed sediment produced – 12,328 tons – Estimated amount of sediment

Dredging and processing operations on the Fox River for the 2012 season started May 14 and concluded on November 12.

Some details are as follows:

– Estimated volume of sediment dredged – 26,273 cubic yards

– Estimated amount of processed sediment produced – 12,328 tons

– Estimated amount of sediment hauled to landfill – 12,661 tons

– Truckloads to landfill – 529

– Amount of water treated and returned to the river – 53,910,000 gallons

– The project has now topped 1,120,000 work hours without a lost time incident.

Progress during the 2012 dredging and processing season:

– Estimated volume of sediment dredged – 660,007 cubic yards

– Estimated amount of processed sediment produced – 325,531 tons

– Estimated amount of processed sediment hauled to landfill – 317,093 tons

– Truckloads to landfill – 13,818

– Amount of water treated and returned to the river – approximately 1.63 billion gallons.
