BMT JFA Consultants (BMT), a subsidiary of BMT Group Ltd, the leading international maritime design, engineering and risk management consultancy, has won a contract with Western Australia’s Department of Transport (DoT) to provide construction management services at Exmouth Boat Harbour and Coral Bay.

The services BMT will provide will help support the construction of Stage 1 Floating Mooring Pens at Exmouth Boat Harbour, as well as dinghy moorings and universal pontoons at Coral Bay. Taking on the role of Superintendent Representative, BMT will create a proactive and pre-emptive approach to the running of the contract, to ensure sufficient forethought is given, in order to seize potential opportunities and avoid possible challenges within the construction phase.

Tim Green, Managing Director of BMT JFA Consultants explains: “ BMT has been providing maritime consulting services to the Department for over 12 years and we are delighted to continue our long-standing relationship with them. We appreciate the performance of the Superintendent’s Representative can have a significant impact on the success of the overall project but our ability to work closely with our clients, understanding their needs will ensure we can deliver a high quality and cost effective service.”
