Recently, CCCC Second Harbour Engineering Co., Ltd. has won the bid for the coal terminal project, with a contract value of 49.4 million yuan and a construction period of one year.
Located in Shashi section in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River, the project involves two 3,000t bulk terminals, terminal platform, substation platform, bridge approach, revetment, etc. The terminal platform, 195 meters in length and 22 meters in width, is in vertical high-piled beam & slab structure; the bridge approach consists of a 6.5-meter overhead belt conveyor trestle and a 5.5-meter vehicle approach,
The project is of great importance to increasing the handling capacity of Jingzhou Port, improving regional investment environment, and promoting the economic development of Jingzhou and its neighboring areas.
