According to simcoereformer.ca, the harbour in Port Rowan could look very different in the near future.

The County and the Port Rowan Harbour Commission are preparing a big development project.

This project includes excavation works on the channel at the north end of the harbour.

After that, the channel would be about 80 feet wide and 10 feet deep.

Simcoereformer.ca also reports that more dredging is scheduled to take place at the Port Rovan harbour this fall.
