Shelby Tucker, project manager for the San Diego Association of Governments, said that the dredger Liberty Island will probably arrive on September 2 at the Imperial Beach.

The dredger has finally finished its East Coast project and is coming west to give many North County beaches a massive influx of fresh sand.

After Oceanside, the Liberty Island will be off the coast of Encinitas.

According to nctimes.com, in early November, it is expected to move to Solana Beach, and it is scheduled to complete work in south Carlsbad at the end of November.
