The latest official figures for July, 2012, shows that ADPC’s flagship Khalifa Port is less than 2% from completion.
The Port, whose new semi-automated container terminal opens on September 1st, is 98.48% complete.
Khalifa Industrial Zone Abu Dhabi (Kizad), adjacent to the Port, is 90.87% complete. The industrial zone will grow into one of the largest ones in the world.
Overall, the adjusted completion figure for the Taweelah megaproject (both Khalifa Port and Kizad combined) is 96.63% complete.
