Ghana: Funko Lagoon Dredging Set for September

A locally based company, Gulf Western Group, in partnership with the Ghana Maritime Authority had initiated $120 million investment project wich is expected to create 5,700 jobs for the local people in the next five years. Western Region to get new offshore shore-base facilities, reports ghanaweb.

A locally based company, Gulf Western Group, in partnership with the Ghana Maritime Authority had initiated $120 million investment project wich is expected to create 5,700 jobs for the local people in the next five years.

First phase of the project would involve Funko lagoon dredging.

The project is expected to take off in September and is being funded by local financial institutions, individuals and directors of the Funko lagoon Development Board.
