On May 18, “Junhai V”, a 10,000m3 suction dredger fabricated by CCCC Guangzhou Dredging Co., Ltd., went into operation.

With a length of 131.3 meters, a width of 25.4 meters, a dredging depth of 8.45 meters and a maximum capacity of 10,288 cubic meters, it is a self-propelled suction dredger with twin screw, double rake and double nozzle, applicable to dredging and filling of different types of soil.

The dredger uses IHC’s most advanced high-efficiency dredge pump, with the addition of the most advanced loading and barging system, dynamic tracking and positioning system, and double-layer wear-resistant dredge pipe, to boost dredging efficiency and yield high economic benefit.

The fabrication of the dredger will further enhance the company’s vessel structure, increase the technological content of ship equipment and sharpen its market competitiveness.
