The U.S. Army Corp of Engineers’ Philadelphia District (USACE), with the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP), will hold three separate open house events for the public to view information and provide feedback on the Delaware River Basin Comprehensive Interim Feasibility Study for New Jersey.

The purpose of the study is to evaluate the feasibility of USACE participation in implementing flood risk management solutions along the Delaware River in sixteen New Jersey municipalities which were originally identified as a result of the 2004, 2005, and 2006 flood events.

Subsequently, additional areas have come to attention, and investigation of these areas has recently been initiated.
