County commissioners will hold a public hearing regarding the Hernando Beach channel dredging project at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Hernando County Government Center, 20 North Main St. in downtown Brooksville.
Representatives from the dredge contractor and consultant, Orion Dredging Services and Halcrow Inc., respectively, will attend.
The special session was called after Orion announced this week it was appealing the county’s notice that it must return to work in 10 days or face breach of contract.
